ABOUT ME

I grew up in the small town of Princeton, WI where I attended school K-12. During my time there I was involved in many hands on classes and people often described me as the "artsy fartsy" kind (translate how you will) :).
I went on to attend FVTC in Appleton, WI where I graduated with my Associates degree in Business Management. To me I was really living in the "big city" (insert eye roll), but in all honestly this is where I decided I wanted to settle in a much smaller town and much closer to my family and it wouldn't hurt to be closer to my boyfriend (now husband, Michael).
I moved back to my home town after college where I purchased my first house and realized that remodeling was my next calling in life aside from my full time job. We settled for a few years in our cozy 2 bedroom house and decided it was time to upgrade. We moved to Green Lake where we decided to remodel our second home (I decided :), I think one remodel project house would have been plenty for Michael, but this was going to be our FOREVER home!
Michael proposed and a year later we got married 9-10-16. (Hard to believe that now in 2019 we have been together for 10 years!)
A year later we decided to start trying for baby #1 and then before we knew it Easton was born on 4-19-18... then the real adventure began for us! As if being new parents wasn't enough we decided to cram a little more into our already busy lives and you guessed it.... it was time to move again (I seriously thought Michael might kill me or divorce me this time)! We remodeled and are completely IN LOVE with our new home in the country.... we like to call this our FOREVER home (for real this time)!
I've always enjoyed learning new things and really throwing myself into projects and most of all seeing the outcome at the end. I do have to admit I am a perfectionist and like things to be just right!
Throughout all of my crazy life adventures this far (and I'm only 27) I have always had a passion for photography. It's something that has always been intriguing to me. You capture an imagine that you see in a particular way that nobody else does, so there is no right or wrong! Right now I primarily consider myself a natural light photographer. I love that there is so much more I have to learn when it comes to photography and a hobby that can grow with me and with my family and hope to one day have my own studio for indoor photos (life goals)!! It has become much more a part of my life now that I have started a family. Easton has taught me how time really does fly by and I just want to capture all the special moments with him!
Although there isn't a bunch of extra time in my life aside from being a mom, working a full time job at my family's construction company during the week, and fitting in photography on nights and weekends, I do have other interests and things that make me happy such as:
